The Pilot
Tested with professional drivers in real working conditions
An early feasibility and engagement pilot across two Hounslow transport operators.
Between July and August 2026, RoadWell conducted an initial real-world pilot involving 17 professional drivers living with diabetes across two Hounslow transport operators.
The pilot tested whether a digital pre-drive and journey-monitoring workflow could fit into actual professional-driving routines. It focused on:
- monitoring adherence
- ease of use during working shifts
- reminder engagement
- record completeness
- driver feedback
- operator feasibility.
This was an early feasibility and engagement pilot, not a controlled clinical trial, and RoadWell does not present the results as clinical-effectiveness evidence.
Participating operators
The pilot ran with two licensed private-hire and airport-transfer operators based in Hounslow, each of which has provided a signed letter of support. See the Evidence page for the current status of each capability.
Detailed pilot figures and consented participant feedback are added here as they are finalised.
